Wounded Warrior Project
Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following September 11, 2001. With the support of our community of donors and team members, we give a voice to those needs and empower our warriors to begin the journey to recovery.
Toys For Tots
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. At Christmas, Coordinators, with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups, and other local community agencies, distribute the toys to the less fortunate children of the community.
San Diego Food Bank
Currently in San Diego County, 1 in 6 people; 1 in 7 adults; and 1 in 5 children are food insecure, meaning that little or no food is available at home, and those who are food insecure do not know how they will get their next meal. The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County, serving an average of 370,000 people per month. Nonprofit partners include: food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, low-income daycare centers, senior centers, faith-based organizations, schools, and day centers for the elderly and disabled.
Ronal McDonald House Charities
Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego provides a “home-away-from-home” for families with children being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals. The Ronald McDonald House relies on community support. It is the only service of its kind that is open to families caring for children at any San Diego County area hospital.
Make A Wish Foundation
For children diagnosed with critical illnesses, a wish come true can be a crucial turning point in their lives. A wish can be that spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses. This impact is why we are driven to make every one of these wishes come true.
San Diego Rescue Mission
San Diego Rescue Mission is a non-profit homeless shelter and recovery center serving thousands of homeless, hungry, and poor women, men, and children in San Diego, CA since 1955. Some of their programs provided are emergency shelters for women and children, a men’s residential rehabilitation program, a women and children’s residential program, a preschool, a recuperative care unit, transitional housing, work therapy, and more.
San Diego Humane Society
With campuses in San Diego, CA Escondido, CA and Oceanside, CA San Diego Humane Society takes care of almost 2,000 homeless animals daily, and provides services to enhance the human-animal bond in the community. They also have adoption centers inside select Petco stores throughout the county.
Habit For Humanity
Habitat for Humanity programs are focused on creating homes for ownership by low-income families in need, offering a hand up, not a handout. Habitat homes are sold to Partner Families at no profit and are financed by a 0%-interest 25 to 30-year mortgage. The mortgage payments create a revolving fund that Habitat uses to construct future homes for local families in need. San Diego Coastkeeper
San Diego Coastkeeper’s mission is to protect and restore fishable, swimmable and drinkable waters in San Diego County. They use community outreach, education and advocacy to empower San Diegans to guard their clean water and healthy ecosystem. Their team of scientists, activists, educators and lawyers work with the community and decision-makers to protect the waters in San Diego County.
Mama's Kitchen
At Mama’s Kitchen, we envision a community where all individuals with critical illnesses are no longer vulnerable to hunger. We prepare and deliver nutritious meals for our neighbors struggling with AIDS or cancer who are too sick to shop and cook for themselves. Together with hundreds of volunteers, businesses, and community supporters, Mama’s Kitchen strives to help our clients stay healthy, preserve their dignity, and keep their families together by providing free, culturally appropriate home-delivered meals, along with pantry services and nutrition education

Serving Seniors is a San Diego, CA nonprofit providing impactful programs and life sustaining services to seniors age 60+ living in poverty. Programs include meals, affordable housing, social and supportive services, lifelong learning, and health and wellness services
